Here is the newest and best way to highlight the cake or any decoration at wedding or other events. After spending a considerable amount of your events budget on a cake or on centerpieces, you should consider accenting with light to bring attention and have the WOW factor when your guests enter your event.
This is Jessica and Joe’s Wedding Cake from August 28, 2010. We placed up lights under the table’s skirting and used a pin spot to high-light the jewel on the cake. The cake was designed by Bethel Bakery and styled to match Jessica’s dress. We have created a special, one of a kind of lighting fixture to bring attention to the table without over saturating the color.
The cake is also pin spotted. Pin spotting uses a focused beam of light that shines directly onto an object, like a centerpiece or wedding cake, as a highlight effect. Here the spot is focused on a jewel.
