The idea behind this gorgeous Florida styled shoot was to inspire couples planning an intimate wedding, elopement, or destination wedding. Even if none of the above applies to you, we’re sure you’ll love these amazing details! Coordinated by the team from A Pretty Affair and captured on camera by Crystal Bolin Photography, this styled shoot puts a new spin on garden wedding style. The team combined romantic and vintage decor with tropical-style details for a charming “Old Florida” feel. Other trending pieces (geometric vases, marble place cards) brought a modern vibe to the garden setting.

Show off that ring! When it comes to getting the perfect creative ring shot, we’ve learned that you can turn almost anything into a cute prop. We love how this team used these engraved forks and a simple leaf backdrop.
Decorate your sweetheart table with a handwritten runner that displays your favorite love quote. This stunning idea came to life with a simple roll of brown kraft paper and gorgeous calligraphy.
If you love literature, showcase a love quote from your favorite book! Romantic wedding signs with quotes are one of the easiest ways to personalize and dress up your decor. The team behind this shoot chose an excerpt from “The Last Battle” by C.S. Lewis.
Who doesn’t love greenery? Not only is it one of our favorite ways to decorate your wedding, but greenery is also the Pantone 2017 Color of the Year. Put your own unique spin on the greenery decor trend by using giant leaves in place of signage. We love how this gold calligraphy pops against the green background!
A giant monstera leaf instantly adds a fresh spin to your decor—this tropical look is popping up all over the wedding scene right now. We love how the team made a statement by incorporating the leaves into the otherwise traditional place settings for a totally Pin-worthy idea.
Another of-the-moment detail: marble place cards. These are so much cooler than your average paper place cards, right? You can easily re-create this look by purchasing tiles in bulk and letting your wedding calligrapher work their magic.
“The exquisite Jenny from Port + Palm Co. did something divine by truly speaking to our vision and filling beautiful diamond glass vases with colors of autumn shining throughout, not to mention the breathtaking wildflowers that joined the party,” the team says.
Of course no reception is complete without a little bit of bubbly! Display your signature drink(s) with a handwritten sign like this one. Think of a clever signature cocktail name to make it even more personal.
For the shoot, the vendor team was inspired by the Florida sunshine and salty air. They added gold and rosy pink details to turn the venue, a garden in Palm Beach, into a welcoming wedding location.
“Each element in this particular shoot is near and dear to our hearts, starting with this spectacular hand-written table runner script, lettered by the very talented Corey of Ink Letter Love,” says the team from A Pretty Affair. “The old rustic table and absolutely gorgeous seating was provided by none other than True Love Vintage. Chris, the owner, got ear of our vision and had the most perfect pieces for us.”
They even repurposed old window panes as signage! If you’re displaying decorative signs throughout your venue, pair them with other accents, like a grouping of candles, greenery or flowers, to make everything look intentional and thought-out.
“Mixing geometric Art Deco shapes with soft hues and vintage seating was an idea that inspired us quite some time ago,” the team says. “New age meeting vintage is something that we don’t see often because they differ from each other so much, but the harmonious fusion is magical.”
Balance out your modern decor with softer flower arrangements, like this garden-inspired combo of ranunculuses, lisianthus, greenery, blushing bride proteas, goldenrod, and berries.
How adorable is this love quote sign? Signage like this makes a great photo op on your wedding day but can also be repurposed and displayed in your home long after the big day is over.
